WHY DIAMOND MEDIA CUE EXISTS
A cue system built from the stage outward.
Ron has an extensive background in live entertainment as a professional magician, mentalist, hypnotist, and stage performer. Through years of performing in a wide range of venues and production environments, he experienced firsthand how important reliable, flexible audio control can be during a live show.
The idea for Diamond Media Cue came from a problem Ron encountered in his own performances: he was using multiple apps to accomplish different types of audio cue control.
For some shows, a traditional running cue list worked perfectly. Cues could be arranged in order and played sequentially throughout the performance.
But many live shows do not always follow a completely fixed sequence. A performer may need to change direction, respond to what is happening onstage, or instantly select a particular piece of music or sound effect. A sequential cue list alone was not enough.
He needed both.

Button Mode
Choose individual cues on demand from large stage-friendly buttons when the performance changes or you need to jump instantly to a specific moment.
Both approaches remain available during live performance, allowing you to move between sequential and on-demand cue control without interrupting audio that is already playing.
DEVELOPED WITH PERFORMERS IN MIND
The idea expanded as other live users weighed in.
As Diamond Media Cue continued to develop, Ron talked with other performers, speakers, presenters, and people who rely on audio during live events.
Those conversations led to additional features and capabilities being incorporated into the app. Some may become essential parts of the way you run your show. Others may simply be there when you need them.
That is part of the philosophy behind Diamond Media Cue: provide powerful performance tools while allowing each user to decide how those tools fit into their own workflow.
The result is an application designed not simply from a software-development perspective, but from the perspective of someone who actually stands onstage and understands the pressure of a live performance.
