1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

We may receive information you provide when purchasing Diamond Audio Cue, activating or managing a license, requesting support, or otherwise contacting us. This may include your name, email address, support correspondence, and information you choose to provide about your device or issue.

Purchase and payment information

Purchases are processed through Stripe. Payment-card information is handled by Stripe and is not stored directly by Diamond Media Cue. We may receive transaction information needed to fulfill and manage your purchase, such as purchaser identity, email address, payment status, transaction or checkout references, refund status, and related order information.

License and activation information

Diamond Audio Cue uses a licensing system to issue, validate, activate, deactivate, and manage licenses. The licensing service may process information such as your email address, license record, activation status, device or installation identifier, and information needed to confirm whether a license is active and within its permitted device limit.

Support communications

If you contact support, we receive the email address you use and the contents of your message, together with any files or diagnostic information you choose to send.

Website and hosting information

Hosting and infrastructure providers may process routine technical information necessary to deliver, secure, and maintain the service. This may include IP address, browser or device information, request logs, timestamps, and similar operational data.

2. Your Shows, Cues, Branding, and Audio Files

Diamond Audio Cue is designed so that your show content is primarily managed on the device or browser where you use the app. Show names, cue settings, personalized branding, imported audio files, and related show data are not intended to be collected by Diamond Media Cue merely because you create or use them in the app.

When you export a show or backup, the resulting file is under your control. If you choose to place that file in Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, another cloud service, email, removable storage, or another location, that service's privacy practices apply to the copy you place there.

3. How We Use Information

• process and fulfill purchases;
• issue and manage Diamond Audio Cue licenses;
• enforce the permitted number of active devices;
• provide Mac App downloads to eligible license holders;
• validate license status, including after refunds or other account changes;
• respond to support requests and troubleshoot problems;
• operate, secure, maintain, and improve our website and services;
• prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized use; and
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to operate portions of the website, purchasing, licensing, hosting, and support infrastructure. These may include:

• Stripe for checkout, payment processing, and related transaction services;
• GoDaddy for website hosting, domain, DNS, and email-forwarding infrastructure;
• Netlify for hosting portions of the Diamond Audio Cue Web App and licensing infrastructure; and
• other technical providers used to deliver or secure the service.

5. Cookies and Tracking

Diamond Media Cue does not currently intend to use advertising trackers on the website. Basic cookies, local storage, or similar technologies may be used when required for site or app functionality, licensing, security, or user preferences.

If analytics, advertising pixels, or other optional tracking technologies are added in the future, this policy and any required cookie or consent controls should be updated before or when those technologies are enabled.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website, process payments, provide licensing, host services, provide support, prevent fraud, or comply with law.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including purchase records, licensing, support, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax or accounting obligations, and other legal requirements.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect the information we process. No website, storage system, transmission method, or security measure can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Privacy Choices

You may contact us to ask about personal information associated with your purchase, licensing record, or support history, or to request correction or deletion where applicable. Some information may need to be retained when required for licensing, transaction records, security, fraud prevention, or law.

10. Children's Privacy

Diamond Media Cue and Diamond Audio Cue are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13 through the website or licensing service.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website or software may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our products, services, providers, or legal obligations change. The revised policy will show an updated date at the top of the page.
